The Bright Funds Foundation Strategic Philanthropy Advisory (SPA) Board's overarching objective is to determine how best to leverage existing strategic funding expertise to efficiently and sustainably inform a broad range of donors seeking direction on where to give. Within this larger research mandate, SPAs develop a research framework for Funds and identifying Fund Manager partners.
Fund Managers serve as issue experts that strategically allocate donors' contributions to eligible grantees on a regular basis in order to achieve their Fund’s outcome goals as effectively as possible. Fund Managers will be expected to exercise independent, evidence-based analysis and thought, as well as engage in an iterative process to determine the most effective way to engage donors in high impact giving with a variety of reporting tools.
